Job Description

People's International Foundation (PIF) is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Program Officer to lead our Women Empowerment and Microfinance initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring community development projects aimed at improving rural women's livelihoods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and monitor microfinance and skill development projects for underprivileged women.
  • Supervise field officers, conduct community mobilization, and oversee loan disbursement and recovery processes.
  • Coordinate with local government bodies, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
  • Prepare monthly field progress reports, impact assessment summaries, and financial statements.
  • Conduct training workshops on financial literacy, small business management, and leadership.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Economics, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of experience in microfinance and women empowerment programs in an NGO/Non-Profit setting.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and community engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bangla and English (Written & Verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
