Basic Needs & Human Dignity

Children of sex workers grow up under the weight of stigma - often denied safe shelter, education, and social acceptance - and many are trapped in the same cycle of exploitation from a young age. Millions of girls across Bangladesh still lack menstrual health education and access to safe, affordable period products, leading to absenteeism and school dropouts. Those who are visually impaired, tea workers, or from hill-tract communities remain largely excluded from these conversations.

Each year, over 5,000 children are born with cleft lip and palate; many from low-income families cannot afford corrective surgery and continue to struggle to eat, speak, or thrive. Meanwhile, access to basic needs remains deeply unequal across both rural and urban areas.
